  1. Dear Anil, nice clarification on various terms related to Air operations. I don’t know who will bell the cat wrt Theaterisation concept ? Even today’s newspaper carried RM’s drive towards that end. Few days back CAS shown thumbs down on this issue. I only hope political power understands the implications and revise their thought process.

  2. Explained with great degree of clarity. Very relevant in today’s ongoing Russia- Ukraine conflict as well as internal structural changes being discussed for Indian Armed forces.

  3. While serving (20 years ago), was conversant with the distinctives between the various scenarios of Supremacy, Superiority and FAS which got refreshed.

    Being Kargil Day, you described that one arm had been tied behind. Given that such circumstances will be more likely rather than unfettered application of power, do you think that that needs a doctrinal adaption?
