Very well spoken Anil…composed and to the point.
Gaurav however, should have asked a very fundamental questions for the benefit of the gen viewers…not only faujis.
1. Difference between 3, 4 & 5th gen acs.
2. While you recommended going in for 4th gen Rafael (in phased manner) as per your logical reasoning, he should have asked the ques as to what addl system/wpns/tech eqpt would somewhat mitigate the 5th gen superiority of China when fighting with 4th gen acs.

Thanks Anil for the podcast with Gaurav Arya. Very interesting and enjoyed listening to every minute of it. I hope that the government influencers listen and act on your concerns.
Anniah (Army Vetran)
Anil heard the podcast in full..! Thoroughly enjoyed and also learned a lot about the latest in air power dominance and the race to catch up..! Glad you brought up the topic at the end regarding the deficiency in knowledge in metallurgy in jet engine manufacturing in India ( Kaveri good example) and the limitations of HAL in annual rate of production of aircraft.
Suggest next time bring up the issue of why metallurgy is not taught in majority of technical or engineering institutions in India as a core subject.
Congratulations..! Wishing you many more successes ..!
Roychow (IAF Vetran)
Very well articulated Anil and quite informative as well
Cdr S Gopa Kumar

Rekha Mangalik
Saw the complete Podcast. It was interesting and educative.
Hope to see many more of them.
Capt Natesh (Vetran)
Very insightful conversation, thanks for sharing.
I don’t see any solution to make up for the depleting number of ac’s in the near future….
Gyanendra Pratap (Army Vetran)
This was a really good one, Anil.
Listened to it without a break.
Wide spectrum and while your knowledge is amazing, your assessments are spot on.
Proud of you

I saw this just this morning. I’ve heard your podcast with Ramachandran’s son also. Wish you would appear more on these public platforms. You are measured, not given to hyperbole and your views obviously structured by knowledge of facts. I quite like your social media forays!
Rajaram (IAF Veteran)
Very measured, articulate and educative interaction. Learnt a lot. 52 minutes seems to fly & waiting to hear more talks on such topics. Maybe, a few views on the Technology mix of the the existing types of Fleet the IAF has, & how to overcome the shortage in numbers would make interesting understanding.
You were very comfortable in the Podcast as your knowledge on the subject is deep!! Great screen presence as well.
AVM PS Karkare (Retd)
Thanks a lot Prashant.
