    1. Today there are 270 Cheshire Homes in 54 countries and these Homes run independently but affiliated to a Leonard Cheshire Global Alliance.

The first overseas Cheshire Home was established in Mumbai, India, in 1956 and the second one in Serampore, West Bengal.

Today there are around 24 Cheshire Homes in India, located at Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Lucknow, etc.

  1. Philanthropic activities are still a “work-in-progress” aspect in the country.

Thanks for the spotlight on Cheshire Homes at Bangalore

  2. A noble cause and selfless service to the needy and less privileged co citizens. This is what is ” LOOK BEYOND YOURSELF”. Any, howsoever small, effort for such like services, are part of our duties towards the nation. All of us are associated with such initiatives in some form or the other. It was a good read.👍

  3. Thanks to enlighten me about this organization which is on a noble cause. This shows that humanity still prevails.
