China put forward two lists during talks with visiting U.S. deputy secretary of state.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The two lists are:-<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n In the List of U.S. Wrongdoings that Must Stop, China urged the United States to:-<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n List of Key Individual Cases that China Has Concerns With, contains some key individual cases, including some Chinese students’ visa applications being rejected, Chinese citizens receiving unfair treatment in the United States, Chinese diplomatic and consular missions being harassed and rammed into by perpetrators in the United States, growing anti-Asian and anti-China sentiment, and Chinese citizens suffering violent attacks.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n China urged the United States to address these cases as soon as possible<\/em><\/strong> and earnestly respect and protect the legitimate interests of Chinese citizens and institutions in the United States.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Comments<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Chinese government has practiced issue-linked diplomacy<\/em><\/strong> for decades behind closed doors as a negotiating tactic.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n China is not only disagreeing with others, but has now started demanding<\/em><\/strong> favourable action from others, it seems that a new threshold has been crossed in China\u2019s diplomacy.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n China\u2019s engagement ethos has been summed up appropriately as:-<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n This engagement style reflects an interpretation of Xi Jinping thoughts on diplomacy, which calls for \u201ca distinctive Chinese style of diplomacy<\/em><\/strong>\u201d that protects the \u201cred line\u201d of China\u2019s self-declared core interests.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Xi Jinping Thoughts on Diplomacy<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n It has ten core principles. These principles with comments are as follows:-<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n # Emphasis is on the supremacy of the Party and the Leadership.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n # Emphasis is on regaining of the lost glory and apex position in the world.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n # Announcement of China\u2019s arrival on the world scene and its role in the world affairs.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n # Advocating that the Chinese ideology of governance is the best.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n # Trying to sell BRI, as China has too much riding on it. Although luring others with \u201cshared benefits\u201d, but actually is a Win-Win situation for China.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n # It means achieving of China\u2019s objectives without confrontation.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n # Indicating that China should start dominating the multilateral institutions.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n # Indicating that the global governance system should work as decide by China.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n # Active Defence policy with a twist. China will decide what the red line is, when and by whom it has been crossed and China will have the legitimacy of carrying out any retaliatory action as it deems fit.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 10.
